# Sell commercial solar and battery storage leads.

Yes. AceLeads buys commercial and industrial solar and battery storage enquiries from independent lead generators across the UK. You send the lead with the site, the spend and the consent trail attached, we accept or reject it within 48 hours, and every accepted lead pays a fixed fee. Commercial only: domestic rooftop enquiries are rejected.

The highest-value brief we run, and the narrowest. A C&I project is worth several times a domestic install to the firm that wins it, so the site, the spend and the person who signs it off all have to be on the lead.

## What we accept

- A named decision maker at a UK trading business: owner, director, or a facilities, estates, energy or sustainability manager.
- The site address with a full postcode. Not a registered office, not a town, not “sites nationwide”.
- A working UK phone number and a deliverable email address. We check both before a fee is due.
- Site type: warehouse, factory, farm, retail or office premises, car park canopy, or land for ground mount.
- Roof or land area, or an indicative system size in kWp. An approximation is fine, a blank is not.
- Current electricity spend, annual or taken from a recent bill, plus the supply type if they know it.
- What they are scoping: rooftop PV, ground mount, battery storage, EV charging, or a combination.
- Timeframe, and whether they are gathering options or already have a budget approved.
- Consent evidence: the form URL, the exact wording shown, the IP address, the user agent and the timestamp.

## Who buys these leads

The buyers on this brief are commercial solar and EPC contractors, battery storage specialists and energy consultants working C&I sites across the UK, and the postcode areas they are short in move from week to week.

## What we reject

A narrow brief is what the fee buys. Almost everything we turn down in commercial solar fails on one of these six points, and every rejection carries a code from a published, closed list, so you always know which one it was. A rejected lead stays yours and we make no claim on it.

## Rejection reasons in full

- **Domestic rooftop enquiries** - A homeowner pricing panels on a house is out of scope however complete the data is, and so is a home office, a garage roof, or a sole trader registered at a residential address. Domestic solar is not a brief we run, so that traffic is better split off before you submit than rejected afterwards.
- **A contact with no authority over the roof** - A tenant in a leased unit who cannot authorise works on a roof they do not own, with no landlord named and nothing to show they can get consent to alter, is not a project yet. Nor is a switchboard, a receptionist, or someone collecting brochures. Name the person who can approve a survey.
- **A site we cannot place** - No postcode, the accountant’s address given as the registered office, a franchise head office instead of the unit with the roof, or “multiple sites nationwide” with none of them named. Briefs are bought by postcode area, so a site nobody can locate cannot be priced or placed.
- **Neither a roof size nor an energy spend** - One of the two missing is a qualifying call. Both missing is a name and a phone number, which is not a commercial solar lead. With no area and no consumption figure, nothing on the record separates a 30 kWp office roof from a 500 kWp distribution shed.
- **Feasibility, funding and research enquiries** - Grant hunters asking what is available, consultants and students gathering market information, sustainability reporting with no budget behind it, and tender collectors who need a third quote for a contract already awarded. Intent has to be dated and funded, not curious.
- **Recycled, co-registered or incentivised enquiries** - A duplicate of an enquiry already submitted, by you or by another affiliate, inside the dedupe window on our lead standards page. Also scraped directory records, prize draw and free-gift entries, and any lead whose consent wording never mentioned solar. Screening runs on normalised phone and email, and a consent trail that does not match the enquiry fails on its own.

## What moves a commercial solar fee

Every brief pays a fixed fee when we accept the lead, and a higher fixed fee when the lead also carries the qualifying detail. Commercial solar sits at the top of the rate card, because the project behind it is worth several times a domestic install to the firm that wins it. The figures are published on the what we pay page, indicative and subject to postcode and volume. Four things decide which tier a lead lands in.

## What moves a lead up a tier

- **The scale, written down** - Roof or land area, or an indicative kWp. A 30 kWp office roof and a 500 kWp distribution shed arrive as the same lead when nobody records the number, and the smaller of the two sets the price.
- **A real energy spend** - An annual figure or a recent bill is the strongest qualifier in this vertical. It is what shows there is a commercial case before anyone books a survey, and it is usually what lifts a lead from the raw tier to the qualified one.
- **Authority to sign it off** - An owner, director, or facilities, estates or energy manager who can authorise a survey is worth materially more than a named employee at the same site. Capture the role, not only the name.
- **Scope beyond the panels** - Battery storage, EV charging or a multi-site rollout scoped alongside rooftop PV raises the value of the project and the fee with it. Flag what was actually asked for rather than filing everything as solar.

## Payment terms

- **Decision** - Within 48 hours of submission
- **First payment** - Within 14 days of your first accepted lead
- **After that** - Every Friday, for everything accepted up to the previous Sunday
- **Payment method** - Bank transfer (BACS). We raise the self-billed invoice, so there is nothing to chase.
- **Clawback** - Once we accept a lead it is ours. We never claw back an accepted lead because a buyer did not convert it. We reverse a payment only for proven fraud, a proven duplicate, or a consent failure.

## Requirements that apply to every lead

- Capture pages must meet UK GDPR and PECR standards. Specific, informed, freely given consent, a real privacy notice, no pre-ticked or bundled permissions, and AceLeads or a clearly described category of recipient named at the point of capture. Consent evidence travels with every lead: timestamp, IP, page URL and the exact wording shown. Capture pages are audited before the first lead is accepted.
- Every lead is verified before it counts. Contact details are checked, duplicates are caught across all affiliates rather than just your own, and known junk patterns are filtered automatically. Leads that fail verification are rejected with a named reason and are not paid for.

## Frequently asked questions

### Do you buy domestic solar leads as well?

No. This brief is commercial and industrial only: warehouses, factories, farms, retail and office premises, car park canopies and ground mount land. A domestic rooftop enquiry is rejected as out of scope even when the data is perfect, so it pays to split that traffic at the form rather than at the decision.

### How much do you pay for a commercial solar lead?

A fixed fee per accepted lead, at one of two tiers: the raw rate for a lead that meets the acceptance standards, and a higher qualified rate when it carries the qualifying detail on this page as well. Commercial solar is the top of our rate card. The current figures are published in full on the what we pay page, and they are indicative, subject to postcode and volume.

### What makes a commercial solar lead qualified rather than just accepted?

Acceptance is the floor: a real, reachable decision maker at a C&I site we can place, with consent evidence attached. Qualified means the commercial case is on the lead too, normally the energy spend alongside the roof or land area, and the scope they actually want. The tier is set when we verify the lead, not by what the buyer does with it afterwards.

### What happens if you reject one of my leads?

You get a reason code from a fixed, published list rather than an opinion, so you can see what failed and fix it at the source. Nothing outside that list can be used to reject a lead. A rejected lead stays yours, we make no claim on it, and you are free to place it elsewhere. The full list and the decision window are on the lead standards page.

### Can I send the same enquiry to another buyer too?

Not once we have accepted it. We take the lead outright and place it, so an accepted commercial solar enquiry should not be live with another network at the same time. Before we accept, and after any rejection, it is yours to do as you like with. That is the commercial position, and the affiliate agreement is the wording that governs it.
