Vehicle Leasing
Bad credit car leads,
drivers a prime desk turns away.
Yes. AceLeads supplies bad credit car leads: UK drivers who have told us their credit is poor, thin or previously declined and who want to lease or rent a car. Cars make up roughly seven in ten of our adverse-credit enquiries and most are personal rather than business. Each lead states the budget, the term, the region and the credit position as the driver described it. AceLeads introduces the enquiry only and is not a lender, broker or credit intermediary.
They told us the credit was poor when they enquired. You get that on the lead, before the first call, instead of finding out three minutes in.
- Verified enquiries
- UK GDPR-compliant
- Exclusive or shared
- No contracts
A typical lead includes

- Car type, and any make or model interest
- Lease, longer-term rental, or open to either
- Monthly budget as a figure
- Term and annual mileage where given
- Deposit or upfront amount where stated
- Timeframe, and region or full postcode

Why these convert for the right desk
The objection is already on the table
The hard part of a sub-prime car call is usually the first two minutes: working out what the customer’s file actually looks like without losing them. On these leads that has already happened. They have told us the credit is poor, thin or declined elsewhere, so the conversation starts at what can be done rather than what cannot.
They are also realistic. Most have been turned down somewhere already, so they are not expecting a prime rate and they are not shopping fifteen brokers. A desk that answers quickly and tells them honestly what is achievable tends to hold onto them, which is a very different sales job from the prime leasing scramble.
What they are weighing is different from a trader too. A car on this book is usually needed for a commute, a shift pattern or a school run, so the question is whether the monthly figure survives alongside the rest of the household outgoings. Stated budgets average over £500 a month and most sit above £400, which is a driver being realistic about that rather than reaching for something aspirational.
No awkward opener
The credit position is on the lead, so you are not spending the first two minutes working out whether you can help at all.
Budget already set
A monthly figure is captured as a number, not a band, so you know straight away whether anything on your panel fits.
Not shopping fifteen brokers
Most have already been declined somewhere. They are looking for someone who will actually take them, not the keenest rate.
The sub-prime car market
Demand that does not go away when prime says no
A default, a county court judgment, an IVA, a thin file or a couple of years of self-employed accounts are all enough for a prime funder to decline a perfectly employable driver. The car is still needed for the commute, the shifts and the school run, so the enquiry does not evaporate. It just goes looking for someone else.
What those drivers run into is a wall of soft noes. Prime brokers decline politely and move on, comparison sites quote figures that quietly assume a clean file, and the driver ends up making the same call five or six times. By the time they reach a desk that genuinely works this book, they are usually relieved rather than price shopping.
It also changes which cars matter. Prime leasing sells new metal on a three-year contract; this book turns on nearly new and used stock, shorter commitments and a monthly figure the driver can defend to themselves. Desks with used inventory, or with a hire fleet they can put somebody into while their file improves, convert a far larger share of these than a desk that only has new-car leasing to offer.

Adverse and thin-file are tagged separately, so you only take the tiers your funders will actually look at.
Exclusive or shared
Reserve a driver exclusively so nobody else is working them through us, or take shared and compete.
Lease or rental
Many drivers are open to either, so you can place them on whichever product your panel supports.

FAQ
Bad credit car leads, explained.
Everything a supplier usually wants to know before reserving their first lead. Still unsure? Talk to our team.
How do you know the credit is bad?
Because the driver told us when they enquired. We record what they disclosed, whether that is adverse credit, a thin or empty file or a previous decline, and pass it to you as stated. We do not run searches, score anyone or verify it, so treat it as their own account and run your own checks as usual.
Is AceLeads regulated for this?
AceLeads introduces the enquiry and nothing more. We are not a lender, credit broker or credit intermediary, we give the driver no advice and we make no funding decision. HDCH Limited, trading as AceLeads, is not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority. Any regulated activity sits with you under your own permissions.
Are these leases or rentals?
Both, and a lot of drivers are open to either. Where somebody has specifically asked about leasing or about a longer hire, it is on the lead. Where they have not, that flexibility usually works in your favour, because you can offer whichever route your panel can actually fund.
What sort of budgets are we talking about?
The stated monthly budget across our adverse-credit book averages over £500, and the large majority are above £400. Budget is captured as a figure rather than a band, so you can judge fit immediately.
Do they have a deposit?
Some do, and it is captured where they have told us. It matters more here than in prime, because a larger upfront payment is often what turns an unfundable lease into a workable rental or flexi-hire agreement.
Can I take personal only, or business only?
Yes. Roughly five in six of these drivers are personal rather than business, and the applicant type is on every lead, so you can filter to whichever your desk handles.
How quickly do they reach me?
In real time. Leads land in your portal as soon as they are verified and matched to your criteria, and you can switch on alerts so one reaches you immediately. These drivers have often been declined elsewhere that same week, so a fast answer matters.
What does it cost?
Nothing to browse or reserve. You pay an agreed fee only when a lead converts, with no contract, retainer or monthly minimum. See our pricing page for detail.
