Vehicle Leasing
Bad credit van leads,
traders who need the van to earn.
Yes. AceLeads supplies bad credit van leads: UK traders, sole traders and small businesses who have told us their credit is poor or thin and who need a van, either on a lease or a longer-term rental. Vans make up roughly three in ten of our adverse-credit vehicle enquiries. Each lead states the vehicle, the budget, the region and the credit position as disclosed. AceLeads introduces the enquiry only and is not a lender, broker or credit intermediary.
A van off the road is lost income, so these move faster than car enquiries. The credit position is on the lead before you call.

Why van enquiries behave differently
This is a tool, not a want
A trader without a van is not earning. That single fact makes these enquiries move quicker and close harder than the car side: the timeframe is usually now, the alternative is hiring something expensive by the day, and the decision does not get deferred to think it over.
The credit problem is often not what it looks like. A large share of these are self-employed, and self-employment is a credit file problem rather than an affordability one. Short trading history, irregular income on paper and no PAYE to point at will earn a decline from a prime funder even when the work is steady and the money is there.
They have already told us the credit is poor, so you are not spending the first call establishing it. What they want to know is whether anyone will actually put them in a van this week.
Urgent by nature
No van means no income, so the timeframe is usually immediate and the decision does not get put off.
Often self-employed
Many are declined for thin trading history rather than bad conduct, which is a very different risk once you look properly.
Costed as a business expense
Traders judge a monthly figure against what the van earns, not against what they would like to pay.
The adverse credit van market
Where the decline is about paperwork, not risk
The UK runs on small operators: sole traders, two-person firms and newly formed limited companies doing trades, deliveries, maintenance and mobile services. Most of them need a van to trade at all, and a good share cannot satisfy a prime commercial funder because they have not been trading long enough, their income looks irregular on paper, or a difficult year left something on the file.
That is not the same as a bad customer. A trader whose van pays for itself several times over each month is a very different proposition from a consumer stretching for a car they want, and the repayment motivation is far stronger because the asset is the income. Desks that underwrite this properly know that, which is why an all-credit commercial book can work well.
Flexibility matters here more than anywhere. Where a lease will not fund a new limited company, a longer-term rental or flexi-hire arrangement with a bigger deposit very often will, and a trader who needs the van this week is usually far more interested in getting on the road than in which product it sits under.

FAQ
Bad credit van leads, explained.
Everything a supplier usually wants to know before reserving their first lead. Still unsure? Talk to our team.
Are these sole traders or limited companies?
Both, plus some personal applicants who want a van for their own use. The applicant type is captured on every lead, so if your commercial funders will only look at a registered company, or conversely if you specialise in sole traders, you filter to exactly that.
Why have they been declined elsewhere?
Most commonly for thin trading history, irregular income on paper or something historic on the file, rather than for anything about how they run the business now. Self-employment on its own is enough to earn a decline from a prime funder, which is why this book rewards a desk that underwrites it properly.
Is AceLeads a broker or lender?
No. We introduce the enquiry and nothing else. We are not a lender, credit broker or credit intermediary, we give no advice and we make no funding decision. HDCH Limited, trading as AceLeads, is not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority. Any regulated activity is yours, under your own permissions.
Lease or rental?
Both, and traders are usually the most flexible customers we see on this. Where a lease will not fund a newly formed company, a longer-term rental or flexi-hire arrangement at a larger deposit frequently will, and somebody who needs the van on the road this week cares far more about that than about the product name.
How urgent are they?
Usually very. A van off the road is lost income every day, so timeframes tend to be immediate rather than the several-week shopping window you see on personal car enquiries. Alerts are worth switching on for this reason.
How many van leads are there?
Vans are roughly three in ten of our adverse-credit vehicle enquiries, from a flow of around 200 a month in total, and the volume has grown every month we have measured. They cover the UK rather than one region.
Can I restrict by van size or area?
Yes. Van type and region are both on the lead and both filterable, so if you only supply large panel vans within a set radius, that is all that reaches your desk.
What does it cost?
Nothing to browse or reserve. You pay an agreed fee only when a lead converts, with no contract, retainer or monthly minimum. See our pricing page.
